Privacy notice
Last updated 14 October 2026
This notice covers livemotionlabs.com and its early-access list. Live Motion Labs runs both. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
If you join the early-access list, we store, together with your email address:
- which sign-up form you used, the date and time you joined, and how many times you submitted the form
- what your browser sends with every request: your IP address, your browser and device type (the "user agent"), and your preferred languages
- where your visit came from: the website that linked to us, and any campaign tags in the link, such as
utm_source - basic facts your browser reports about your device: language, time zone, screen and window size, pixel density, whether it has a touch screen, its operating system, whether it is a phone, the number of processor cores, the amount of memory and the connection type (some browsers do not report all of these), and whether you have asked your device for reduced motion
- how your visit went: whether the moving light on the page could run on your device, how long you had the page open, and how far down you scrolled
We read these details only at the moment you join. If you do not join, we keep none of them.
When you visit, our web server keeps a standard access log of your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time. The log is deleted after 14 days.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to learn how the page is used: which parts people reach, what they arrive on, and where visits come from. It is the only outside service on this site, and it is on for everyone who visits.
- What it sets: Google Analytics sets its own cookies, such as
_ga, so it can tell when the same browser comes back. - What Google receives: your IP address, which page you are reading, and how you moved through it.
- What we do not do: no advertising, no ad storage and no ad personalisation. There is no ad tracking, no tracking pixel and no social plugin on this site.
- Turning it off: if you would rather not be counted, the button under Turning analytics off stops it for this browser. That one choice is kept in your browser's local storage; nothing else is stored.
Everything else on the page, fonts included, still comes from our own server.
Why we collect it
- Your email address: to email you when your early-access invite is ready. You chose to join, and you can leave at any time.
- Where your visit came from: to learn which places bring people who are interested.
- Your device details: Live Motion Labs runs in the browser and draws video live, so we need to know which devices and connections our early users have, to make sure it works well on them.
- Your IP address, the access log and the number of attempts: to keep the site secure, for example to spot and stop abuse of the sign-up form.
Where it is kept
On our own server, rented from Hostinger, in a data centre in Brazil. Only we can get to it. If you live outside Brazil, your information is stored and handled there.
Analytics measurements are the exception: Google holds them under Google's privacy policy, not ours. We see only the reports Google shows us.
Who we share it with
No one, apart from Google, which receives the analytics measurements described above. We never sell or rent your email address. If we use an email delivery service to send the invites, it receives your address only to deliver that email.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address, and the details stored with it, until we have sent your invite, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If Live Motion Labs does not open, we delete the whole list.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. To leave the list, the subject line "Remove me" is enough. We reply within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Turning analytics off
Analytics is on for this browser. The button below turns it off for this browser and removes Google Analytics' cookies. Nothing else changes and the site works exactly the same.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
